The Lotus Éclat is a sports car built from 1975 to 1982 by British automobile manufacturer Lotus Cars. It was based on the Elite and was originally going to be named the Elite Coupe. It differed from the Elite in that it featured a fastback body style which offered more storage space in the boot, albeit with less headroom above the rear seats.

Featuring the wedge styling that was popular with car manufacturers at the time, it was powered by a 1,973 cc (2.0 L) 160 hp (120 kW) Lotus 907 Inline-4 engine. The car was well received by the motoring press, which praised the car's handling and grip.

This Eclat was bought new in Aberdeen in 1979 by Isobel Watson and was her daily driver until she gave up driving in 2002. It was garaged until 2024, when Isobel thought that the car should be seen again, and she kindly donated to Grampian Transport Museum. After 45 years residing in Aberdeen, it has still only 25,000 miles on the clock.

Donated by Isobel Watson.
