Grampian Transport Museum
GTM’s collection brings together a diverse range of vehicles that tells the story of going places, from the early twentieth century to the present day.
The collection features record-breaking and competition vehicles, reflecting Scotland’s rich motorsport heritage, as well as globally significant vehicles of some renown.
Alongside the vehicles themselves, the museum is dedicated preserving transport-related objects, photographs and archival material that help place each exhibit in its wider social and industrial context. Together, these objects tell the story of how transport has shaped daily life, industry and communities across the North East of Scotland and beyond.
Careful conservation ensures that these vehicles are not only displayed but safeguarded for the future, forming the foundation of the museum’s rotating seasonal exhibitions — and this important work is only possible thanks to support of visitors, members, donors and supporters.
