Learn at GTM
You can get hands-on with transport at Grampian Transport Museum — we help people learn heritage skills and inspire the engineers of the future.
Gearing Up for Something New?
If you're looking to challenge yourself, pick up a new hobby or just get a bit more 'handy', then Grampian Transport Museum may be the place for you.
GTM regularly hosts heritage skills workshops on-site — for everything from classic car maintenance to sign-writing — and we encourage people to try something different and useful (no matter how long it's been since your school days!).
During term time, we also host the GTM Young Engineers Club — offering young people aged 11-16 the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and tackle fun, practical engineering challenges.

Education Visits
Ross McKirdy, Museum Manager:
"Education runs through everything we do at GTM. In everything we create, we try to add an educational element to it so our visitors leave knowing something new."
