Young Engineers at GTM
Skills, Creativity & Problem-Solving
The club provides an engaging and practical environment for developing skills, creativity and problem-solving. Our projects are designed to inspire curiosity and spark real enthusiasm for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) skills through fun, hands-on activities and experiments.
Supported by a team of experienced engineers, Young Engineers Club members will gain valuable insight and mentorship while developing real technical skills and building up confidence in decision-making and analytical thinking.
If you are interested in joining or would like to find out more, please email youngengineers@gtm.org.uk
Success at national level
Greenpower Formula 24 Challenge
The Young Engineers Club competes in the Greenpower Formula 24 Challenge, hosted here at Grampian Transport Museum, where our teams have achieved success at both regional and national level.
We also organise talks from experts and visits to engineering companies, giving Young Engineers Club members the opportunity to explore potential careers in engineering and the sciences and hear from the professionals.
Thank you to our Sponsors
We are incredibly grateful to our supporters. Without their generous backing, the Young Engineers Club would not be possible.
