One of three made ready to sail, this amphibious vehicle is based upon a Mk I Triumph Herald and was captained by James May. This was a challenge in two parts: to cross a lake, and then the English Channel. The Sailboat won the Lake challenge but, unsurprisingly, did not make it across the Channel. The Sailboat had sustained the most damage, with the waterproofing giving out.

It is an immensely popular vehicle, has been made into an Oxford Diecast model and baked as a cake!
