This vehicle featured in the Channel Crossing part of the challenge, as the first Dampervan sank! It is based upon a Volkswagen Transporter Type 25, with a later addition of a outboard motor bought from Jeremy for £1 million as the engine did not perform in the challenge.

Regrettably, it later capsized rather dramatically in the English Channel, leaving Richard and James stranded where they were rescued by Jeremy.
