The Nissank was based upon a Nissan D21 pick-up, and was the second vehicle created by Jeremy Clarkson for the Amphibious Car challenge. Unfortunately, his first vehicle - the Toybota - did not survive the Lake challenge. An apparent improvement on the Toybota, the Nissank’s doors are welded shut to prevent water ingress and barrels on the rear for buoyancy. The interior of the car is only accessible by the sunroof!

The Nissank was the only of the three vehicles to complete the challenge and landed in Sangatte.
