This van was donated to the Grampian Transport Museum in 1988 by Bill Kelbie. The vehicle is a Ford 1295cc E83W Thames 10 cwt van and was built and delivered in 1955. The E83W series originated from the Fordson E83W but it was just Ford by 1955.

The van was used to ferry beef around Aberdeenshire. The museum has some Drivers Hours & Journey Records - dated 1956. These show journeys to Rothienorman, Daviot, Wartle, Rayne, Pitcaple, Inverurie etc. Bill Kelbie's (donor) name appears several times, but a Ronald Bisset seems to be the usual driver and J.B. Alsop was the Licence Holder. J.B. Alsop purchased the van from Cordiners Garage, Menzies Road, Aberdeen, on 28/11/1955 and it was based in Inverurie.
