The P45 was a hybrid vehicle, designed and built by Jeremy Clarkson with the remit of being smaller than the world’s smallest car - the Peel P50. It was road tested on various roads, including a motorway which would have been quite a terrifying experience - but proved excellent at bypassing traffic jams by driving past them.
It did however, face a few challenges - like a minimum dispensing volume of 2L at the fuel pump, for the 1.7L fuel tank it actually has. Jeremy put the difference in the bin!
