This vehicle featured in a 215 mile trip to Cornwall, along with another two homemade campervans, for a cold Bank Holiday weekend. Based on a Lotus Excel Type 89, with a rocket shaped roof box on top, it was only big enough to fit a sleeping bag and a potty!

The roof box also featured an “escape hatch” which gives access to the rear seats of the Lotus, which unfortunately was too small for James to fit down. There is also a pop-up section of the roof.
