Holding the current Guinness World Record for the “Fastest electric ice cream van”, Mr Nippy reached 128.816 km/h driven by Paddy McGuinness in 2020. Mr Nippy, a pun on Mr Whippy, is an electric all wheel drive vehicle based upon a Bedford CF ice cream van and a highly modified 1980s Land Rover chassis, converted to electric by Zero EV (now Felten) using Tesla components. Mr Nippy was designed for speed, and with that in mind was fitted with a roll cage for safety.
